Canyoning in Austria - Untere Bergleintal, Tirol

Beautiful and (in the first half) very narrow canyon. Generally a very friendly ambiance and a quite easy descent, but difficulty increases rapidly with rising water levels due to its narrowness.

Parking: Parking at Hubertushof for a few Euros, which you get back if you drink or eat something afterwards. 47°24'02.1"N 11°10'50.3"E
Entry: 47°24'30.9"N 11°10'14.2"E
Ascent: From the hotel follow the dirt road north into the woods and follow the signs to the Meilerhütte. After roughly 35 mins the path flattens out and leads down into the gras covered upper valley where we find the "hole-in-the-ground" entry.
Descent: 2-3h
Way back: 15min
