Well this sucker took me surprise! The inspiration sweater is an Alexander Wang $1000 Sweater but you can make your own, CUSTOM version for dollars!
You can do this to any sweater but a cable knit sweater, or something with a specific pattern will be easiest.
All you need to do is apply the safety pins following the pattern of the sweater and boom! a perfectly designed pattern.

TIP!!! Buy more safety pins then you think you need because once you're in the groove, you move fast and you're going to wish you could do a few more spots or make them more dense.
