Instead, where India stepped back, China stepped in—building roads, pouring investments, and strengthening its political grip. The impact is clearly visible on India’s security, economy, and society.

The bond between India and Nepal is thousands of years old. From Mithila to Lumbini, it has always been more than geography—it is a bond of soul and spirit. The marriage of Sita and Ram, the birth of Buddha, the shared languages, traditions, food, festivals—all speak of one heritage. The only separation is a line on the map.
