Trailer of the most anticipated Ukrainian animated feature film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG produced by Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group). Domestic theatrical release is set for December 29th, 2022.
The film is based on ancient Slavic myths and legends, and also inspired by a classic Ukrainian literature masterpiece “The Forest Song” by Lesya Ukrainka. It features a unique female character, Mavka – the Soul of the Forest and its Guardian.
MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG is set in a magical world filled with original characters. The trailer offers a sneak peek into some of the events of the animated feature and its amazing locations and characters: beautiful Mavka, talented musician Lukas, his uncle Leo, Mavka’s friends Swampy the Kittyfrog and grumpy forest noisekeeper Hush, ancient Forest Guardian – Lesh, mysterious water Nymph Ondine, as well as the main villain – the insidious and greedy Kylina accompanied by her minions.
