The Setup

The Duel

Both men exchange non‑fatal shots. Caine’s bullet drops John to the ground . The arrogant Marquis sees his opening. He snatches the pistol from Caine, stepping in to deliver the killing blow himself . He fails to notice that John hasn't fired his final round .

One Bullet. One Life.

John fires. The bullet finds the Marquis. The villain collapses, dead. John wins . The High Table falls. Caine's daughter is saved . And John, collapsing on the steps, finally finds peace—remembering the wife he lost, closing his eyes for the last time .
