iPhone 11 Pro 2021 REVIEW! Still one of the best.
The iPhone 11 Pro is Apple's most powerful 2019 phone. It has an incredible camera, it's incredibly powerful and has good battery life, but should you get one in 2021?
DESIGN
The design of the iPhone 11 Pro is incredible. It's a real head-turner. From the front, it looks just like the previous iPhone XS model: same size, same notch, pretty much the same thing.
The gorgeous stainless steel frame on the 11 Pro looks as good as ever and it still gives this iPhone that premium feel.
So far it's all very similar to the iPhone XS but if you turn the phone over... this is where the massive change is found.
For a start, it's a matte-finish glass that looks and feels just great. I think that this took the design to a whole different level. Even after a while, the feel of the phone is unlike other handsets: It's deeply classy.
Then we have the triple camera module, which is the one part of the back that is glossy.
Apple did a great job making this design interesting again, and it is good looking.
DISPLAY
The OLED display on the iPhone 11 Pro looks tremendous. It comes with a resolution of 458 pixels per inch (ppi), much more than the 326ppi on the less expensive iPhone 11.
The brightness levels are among the highest ever on an iPhone, 800 nits for reading outdoors easily and up to 1200 nits for viewing HDR content.
CAMERA
The triple camera system on the 11 Pro offers an irresistible combination of great lenses, ground-breaking software and great ease of use.
The three lenses are a regular wide lens, telephoto (2x) and ultra-wide (0.6x the wide lens).
And this is a combination that works really well in most situations.
PERFORMANCE
The iPhone 11 Pro is a beast, it's remarkably fast.
It comes with the A13 bionic chip which again is blisteringly fast. Right now, it’s easy to notice how quickly apps launch and respond when in use. Still, in more than two months I haven’t really noticed a hint of slowdown. It’s still incredibly quick.
Even for hardcore tasks, like photo and video editing, demanding video games or AR features, the 11 Pro is not gonna have any issues.
BATTERY LIFE
The battery life on the iPhone 11 Pro was another massive leap from previous generations, and it has consistently lasted more than a day of regular use on a single charge, often stretching close to a day and a half.
And low-power mode really extends the life of this battery.
IS IT WORTH IT?
The iPhone 11 Pro continues to delight. I’ve tested a lot of phones in the past year, and some have come close to persuading me to change my personal phone. But the combination of great looks, outstanding cameras, great battery life and the awesome deals that you can find out there, I think that it might be time for a change.
The iPhone 11 Pro is just incredible, seriously, even though this phone was released in 2019, it's still one of the best smartphones out there in 2021.
So yeah, it's super worth it.
And if you're thinking about buying one, YES. go. get it.
Just remember to look for a good deal because it is possible to find one right now and the 11 Pro feels premium, expensive, top of the line.
It's just an incredible experience. I love it.
