EPIC Morning Spotting | C-5 , KC-135 , B747 , Dash8 | Prestwick Airport 2018

After a snap decision on the Tuesday night to visit Prestwick Airport for the arrival of the 2 US Air Force Lockheed C-5 Galaxys, more and more interesting movements came in,further adding to the excitement that Wednesday morning.
After both C-5s landed a KC-135 Tanker came into land, then shortly afterwards an L-3 Communications (Converted ex Flybe Dash8 with a big bulge in its middle) departed out, then another KC-135 arrived and both Galaxys departed as a Cargolux 747 arrived.
All in all there was so much to see that morning that it truly made the trip to Prestwick all the more worthwhile.
A fun fact
The last time I visited Prestwick Airport was back in September 2015 where I filmed my most popular video to date, that of Vulcan XH558 which encountered a nosewheel issue at the time.
This footage went on to feature in Guy Martin's story of XH558 in 'The last flight of the Vulcan' on Channel 4.
