Replace a Window Screen
Repair fiberglass window screen in your home's windows by replacing it. The screen mesh comes in two colors silver gray and black. There is a rubber gasket called a spline that holds the screen in the window frame.
Take a piece of the spline, the screen and the frame to the hardware to ensure you get the correct supplies needed to replace your window screens. Match the color. Compare the sizes of available spline and choose the size closest to the size that is installed in your window screen frames. Also, if you are buying a tool to install the spline, ensure that the wheels of the tool fit into the window frame's channel.
