L’Associazione si propone di promuovere ed attuare iniziative che possono utilmente contribuire al miglioramento, alla valorizzazione ed alla diffusione del suino nero di Calabria.

L'associazione pianifica attività relative all’organizzazione di una filiera regionale del suino nero, curandone, ove ritenuto opportuno, l’allevamento, la macellazione, la trasformazione, la conservazione, e la vendita in forma diretta ed indiretta.
L'organizzazione degli eventi, sagre, manifestazioni, convegni e seminari di studio, con particolare riferimento alla cultura contadina ed alle tradizioni rurali, insieme alle attività tese all'acquisizione di marchi di tutela comunitari e non, costituiscono i principali punti di forza dell'Associazione Nero di Calabria.

L’associazione si pone inoltre l’obiettivo di assistere gli associati e provvedere, nell'interesse degli stessi, all'acquisto ed al collocamento, sia sul territorio nazionale che all'estero, di animali da allevamento, materie prime, prodotti derivati e quanto altro necessario agli allevamenti.

L'attuare iniziative e attività volte alla realizzazione di programmi di informazione, formazione e divulgazione, finalizzati alla crescita tecnica e professionale degli allevatori, nonché dei soggetti che operano nel settore di riferimento dell’associazione; svolgere azioni dirette al miglioramento qualitativo, alla sicurezza e alla tracciabilità dei prodotti di provenienza dagli allevamenti, ai fini della valorizzazione degli stessi, fanno si che ogni associato, possa usufruire dei servizi di informatizzazione, comunicazione e marketing, concessi dall'associazione stessa.

The Association aims to promote and implement initiatives that can usefully contribute to the improvement, enhancement and dissemination of the black pig of Calabria.

The association plans activities related to the organization of a regional chain of black pigs , taking care of, where appropriate, breeding, slaughter, processing, storage, and sales in direct and indirect form.
The organization of events, fairs, festivals, conferences and seminars, with particular reference to rural culture and rural traditions, together with activities aimed to the acquisition of Community protection and unregistered trademarks, are the main strengths of ' Black Association of Calabria.

The association also aims to assist members and to provide, in the interest of the same, purchase and placement, both in Italy and abroad, of farm animals, commodities, derivatives and anything else needed to farms.
