KEY TO THE HIGHWAY / FREDDIE KING / DRUM COVER

An old Blues classic, from Freddie King's album Getting Ready. Freddie is one of my all time favorite Blues men. This album features two drummers, Chuck Blackwell, and another drummer named Charles Myers whom I am not familiar with. Blackwell played with The Everly Brothers, Joe Cocker, Taj Mahal, Leon Russell, and many other Rock and Roll legends, and had a great feel. Tulsa produced some great groovers, including Jim Keltner and Jamie Oldaker.

It sounds to me like both drummers are playing on the track.
