Charlie Cresswell was told 5mins before warm-up that he'll make his Premier League debut vs West Ham

The 19 year old Leeds United Under-23s Captain, Charlie Cresswell, made his first senior appearance at the Carabao Cup match vs Fulham where Leeds United won in penalties (6-5).

On 25th Sept 2021, he made his Premier League debut and revealed that he was told 5 mins prior to warm that he'll be starting - to his surprise - in a match against West Ham. At this moment, several teammates from the first team are out due to injury including Bamford, Ayling, Llorente and Koch while Struijk was serving a 3-game suspension for the red card against the Liverpool game.
