Apollo Universal - The Chicken Harvester

CATCHING: lnside the chicken house the Apollo loads the chicken on the front of the machine. The front of the Harvesting Head is made of catching belts placed next to each other. The chicken automatically stand up before the Catching belt, and step on the belt without effort.

TRANSFER: After catching, the chickens are transferred to the back of the machine.
First on the front with the help of 2 Transfer Belts the chickens are transported to a small Flat Belt in the centre. Followed by the Main belt in the middle of the machine, also called Main Tunnel.

CAGING: Afterthe Main Tunnel comes the Caging Belt,this belt places the birds into the containers. The operator moves the belt from left to right to evenly fili the container level. The computer on the Apollo counts by weight every levelof the container, making rt possible to put the correct number of chickens in every container.
