【MBTA】New Red Line Riding from Harvard to Braintree

First ride on the new MBTA Red Line Train, from Harvard to Braintree, then back to Downtown Crossing.

The train number was #1904 - #1900, the first of the entire new fleet. The train were manufactured by CRRC Springfield. Generally, the train left we with great impression, as it runs much smoother and quiter than the old fleets, with fully auto annoucements that could be heard at a reasonable volume. The facilities like info screens are similar to the one of 1400s Orange Line cars. But the only flaws are that passengers are still unavailable to walk between train cars, and the railfan window is curtained to block reflected lights.

But anyway, I like the new trains' style, and I met nice operators and train crews that day, who all had further improved my riding experience.

Thanks for watching!
