The Oldest African American Cemetery in Houston - WTTH 47

The Harrisburg-Jackson Cemetery in Houston, TX is the oldest known African-American Cemetery in the city. It is actually two cemeteries. The older Harrisburg and the newer Jackson which has surrounded it. Many great people of the community have been buried here including Steve Ray and Tom Blue who was one of Sam Houston's Body Servants.
