Pork Caldereta Recipe

Filipino Pork Caldereta is a tomato based stew. It is composed of pork ribs or pork belly, potato, carrots, pickles, tomato sauce and liver spread. In this recipe I added peanut butter, which makes this dish creamy and different from other calderata recipes. Beef, Chicken and Goat Meat are the usual ones that are used in Caldereta but I like to use Pork this time 😁😁.

INGREDIENTS

2 kg Pork Ribs
400 g Tomato Sauce
70 g Tomato Paste
1 Whole Garlic
2 pcs Onions (Medium)
3 pcs Bell Pepper (Medium)
1 cup Pickles
½ cup Soy Sauce
1 small can Liver Spread
1 cup Peanut Butter
2 large Carrots
2 large Potatoes
Salt and Pepper

Note: Always taste it while cooking and adjust the seasoning if you have to.
If you're using pork belly, 1½ kg would be enough for this recipe.
This recipe will take sometime to cook, about 1 hr to 1 hr and 20 mins.
