Interview with Gordi about her cover of 'Covered In Chrome' by Violent Soho.

The fifth release in the Mushroom 50 singles series, Gordi covers Violent Soho's 'Covered In Chrome'. The track was the second single from Violent Soho’s third album, Hungry Ghost. The song, which singer Luke Boerdam wrote after reading about the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, was certified platinum by ARIA and came in at number 14 in triple j’s Hottest 100 in 2014. Gordi is a cherished part of the Mushroom family, signing to Liberation Records in 2016 and is also published by Mushroom Music Publishing.

Mushroom, one of the world’s most influential music and entertainment collectives, will be releasing a special series of re-imagined singles featuring artists covering classic Mushroom songs from across the past five decades.
