normally. raging storm does a fixed amount of low damage hits per second, but if you constantly tap the analogue stick forward, you'll reapply that hit as fast as you can tap forward

going side to side has the fastest DPS, but its only good against huge enemies like Monstro cause you'll go off course if you're attacking a small target
