Many residents in the impoverished Kenyan village of Nyangoma Kogelo share a unique claim to fame: they're related to the man who may be Americas first black president Barack Obama.
Obama's father left Nyangoma Kogelo to study in America. Following his separation from Obama's mother, he had several more children. "I know most Kenyans will be so uplifting because he is originally from here," states Obama's cousin. The village has named the local school after its most famous son.
