ESICM & ALIVE Covid-19 LMIC Webinar
Stay tuned for our next Webinar !!
85% of the world’s population live in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC). ALIVE, the ESICM Fund, was established in 2017 to support patient care across the globe and transfer knowledge, education and training to improve conditions and outcomes for critically ill patients in LMIC.
In the last two years, through ALIVE, theoretical and practical training to enhance knowledge of sepsis and other global infections has reached multi-disciplinary health care workers in Uganda, Pakistan and Barbados.
COVID-19 is now threatening the lives, well-being and economies of the world’s most vulnerable populations. This webinar will address the management of COVID-19 in LMIC, examine what can be done to stop the spread of the pandemic to these poorer nations, and what can be done in countries where health care workers are in short supply.
This webinar will be moderate by Jozef Kesecioglu, Maurizio Cecconi, Mervyn Mer and Armand Mekontso Dessap.
Join the conversation and react #covidmarathon #esicmtv supported by our Social Media team led by Adrian Wong (@avkwong), David Lynes (@Gas_Craic), Velia Antonini (@FOAMecmo) and Segun Olusanya (@iceman).
With special thanks to all the speakers and moderators for their willingness to participate in this COVID-19 Webinars despite their heavy workloads.
