WordPress Studio + MCP: A Better AI Workflow| WordPress.com

Developing for WordPress using AI just got a whole lot better with this one simple open source MCP server.

In this video I’ll introduce you to an open source WordPress Studio MCP server that connects Claude Desktop to WordPress Studio via the Studio CLI. It allows you to build, manage and deploy WordPress Studio sites directly from Claude.

After setup, you can create a new local site, store needed themes/plugins, generate site structure and pages via prompts, and then edit via Claude or the site editor.

It also supports all WordPress Studio functionality, like creating preview sites and pushing to WordPress.com.
