VAL DI FUNES, DOLOMITES ITALY

After completing our hike at Lake Sorapiss, we headed over to the Val Di Funes for the next 3 days.

This little pocket of Northern Italy has to be experienced to be believed.

We rented an apartment and stayed in the valley for 3 days. There are many picturesque towns and villages in this area, which offers a wide range of options for one to explore.

The Puez/Odle National Park offers many hikes of varying difficulty levels, so there is something for everyone who is interested in exploring the wild countryside near the mountains.

There are many cafes and restaurants in this area, all of which offer hearty Tyrolean cuisine, and most of them source the ingredients locally which is a treat for anyone looking for some culinary delights.
