My Day As An ER Tech||EMT||Float Tech||PCT (Night Shift)

As a float tech, I work in many areas of the hospital. Come along with me today and see what I do as a patient care tech in the emergency room (ER). I am working under my EMT licence in the hospital setting.

Other things I didn't mention-
An EMT/Tech does certain things in the ER that you do not do on the floor:
-Wound irrigation
-Splinting/Sling fractured long bones
-Remove IVs
-Draw blood (at some hospitals)

Things ONLY paramedics can do in ER:
-Start IVs (EMTs cannot do this)
-Collect labs (EMTs cannot do this)
