#JerusalemaDanceChallenge performed in Jerusalem!

The South African smash hit, "Jerusalema" (by Master KG and Nomcembo Zikode) with its accompanying dance challenge has taken the world by storm. The dance craze has been compared to the popularity of the 1990’s "Macarena" song and dance. Jerusalema with its infectious beat has sparked a global dance frenzy in countries including Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Germany, Portugal...and now even in Palestine - the home of Holy City of Jerusalem!

Residents of Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ once walked, have now posted their version of the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge!!!

The Palestinian youth from the Old City of Jerusalem who performed the dance have dedicated it to their "friends in South Africa". They explain at the end of the dance: "as our leaders before us, let us unite with renewed energy towards collective liberation from Palestine to South Africa. Amandla!"
