It's always a pleasure to have a return visit from one of the Needwant family and for Needw019 it's PBR man, Bonar Bradberry who delivers a stunning EP to top his last Needwant offering. You Were Away was originally an instrumental, so when we suggested a vocal, we didn't expect it to come from Mr Bradberry himself. Being locked away in that studio has obviously not allowed the true voice to come out, as Bonar delivers a husky and whispered vocal that perfectly matches the laidback vibe of the music. Hamburg's Space Ranger step up for the remix and while they keep the vocal intact, they opt for a purely heads down tempo and late night hypnotic vibe.

On the B-side, Lip Therapy is an electronic synth adventure with key stabs and retro vibes. Our friend Maxxi Soundsystem takes the track by the bottom end and turns it into a bass heavy dance floor work out. He's even added some extra Yeh Yeh vocals too.

Both originals and remixes produce top draw results and an EP you will no doubt be hearing long into 2012.
