I’m Combat Craig and today we will walk through the steps you will need to take to determine if your 100 VA disability rating is permanent. If you received a 100 VA disability rating when you filed your last claim the easiest way to tell if you have a permanent rating is by looking at your decision letter.

On some VA rating decision letters there is a permanent and total box and that will be checked if the VA found you to be 100 permanent. Another thing you might look for on your decision letter is any language that talks about your dependents being eligible for CHAMPVA medical care or if the words no future exams are scheduled.
