Heaven on Earth | New Mexico Adventure | Dome Life

We started this trip by driving 14 hours from Arkansas straight through to New Mexico with a quick stop at Roswell, New Mexico. After that, we finished our drive by arriving at Oliver Lee Campground at Oliver Lee Memorial State Park in New Mexico. For dinner that night, we cooked steak.
The next morning we hiked the Dog Canon Trail in Oliver Lee State Park. After that, Kellie cooked pancakes and bacon. Once breakfast was over, we left for Cloudcroft to ride the Rim Trail in the Lincoln National Forest. One of us got a flat so we had to cut it short to go back to Cloudcroft. Once the tire was fixed, we rode the High Altitude Race Loop. Once that was done, we check out the campgrounds at Organ Mountain-Desert Peaks National Monument. For dinner, we kept driving west to Las Cruces.
The next morning we cooked breakfast burritos, and then left for White Sands National Monument. After enjoying some time at White Sands National Monument / White Sands National Park, we drove back to Cloudcroft to hike on the Rim Trail where we set up hammocks and relaxed. Once we were done relaxing, we cooked walnut ravioli. Once dinner was over, we drove back to White Sands National Monument / White Sands National Park for an amazing sunset.
