DOG PARKS: Good or Bad? WHY I (mostly) AVOID THEM… for my GOLDENDOODLE DOG

While there are heaps of great benefits to taking your dog to dog parks, it’s just not my thing.

Like many people, I took my dog, Sophie the Goldendoodle (aka Groodle, or Doodle dog) to dog parks when she was a puppy. But I soon found she has pesky habit which overrides her usual sociable nature... and puts her at risk of something that sometimes happens in dog parks: fights.

Please note: I am not anti-dog parks. I simply don't think my dog's nature (and habits) make her particularly suitable for them :-)
