About Us: It all started many decades ago when a hard-working man named Kay LeSueur began to buy and sell cars in order to supplement his income as a teacher. His interest in cars eventually led his son, Warren LeSueur, to open up a store near the ASU campus in 1975. Starting with only a couple of air-cooled Volkswagen Beetles, he began to build a legacy. For over 44 years, Warren (along with his brother, sons, nephews, and friends) sold and fixed cars from an old brick building, where Warren estimates he fixed and sold more than 5,000 of Volkswagen's iconic "Bug"!

After the turn of the century, Warren LeSueur realized it was time to take the next step with the business. The dirt lot and leaky shack no longer suited the needs of the company, nor did they live up to the increasing standard of vehicles they were getting in stock. The old air-cooled Beetles were long gone, replaced by newer cars with lower mileage. Customers would exclaim that the derelict building had character, and that they felt they were getting a good price because there was, quite literally, very "low overhead." We assured them that it was our people, not our old building, that had the best character. Years later and with a new building finally constructed, LeSueur Car Company proudly claims to be Arizona's best family owned and operated dealership.
