Camping + Summiting La Malinche Volcano for Sunrise (4,400m)

Here’s how my boyfriend and I camped at the trailhead and summited La Malinche (4,400m) just in time for sunrise 🌄. We started hiking at 3AM, scrambled rocks in the dark, and made it right as the sky lit up.

If you’re planning to hike La Malinche in Mexico, camping the night before makes it way easier—especially during rainy season. Definitely challenging at altitude, but 100% worth it for this view.
