R Nureyev Chant du compagnon errant

Rudolf Nureyev having danced in London the great classical repertoire and creation of F.Ashton and K.MacMillan, introduced the french contemporaney repertoire in 1967 first with R.Petit, then with Maurice Bejart.
R.Nureyev went to Brussels to dance Béjart's "Le sacre du printemps " alternately with Jorge Donne and then " Chant du compagnon errant " in march 1971. M.Bejart imagined a duo in four sequences bringing his best classical dancer Paolo Bortoluzzi and R.Nureyev, one dressed in a bordeaux costume and the other in whithe.
" Le chant..." shows a romantic student struggling with himself until the fate arrives that, taking him by the hand, calms him and reassures him.
