What Happened to Alyson Stoner?

The Disney girl, wait wasn't she in Step Up, omg my childhood, I remember her, dance with Moose pls, do you still make movies... these are the words that flood my feeds daily. Do they bother me? Not necessarily. It's really cool that I've gotten to share in people's lives and I wouldn't be who I am without those projects. Not gonna lie, the laziness of commenting the question versus just going one-click away to my bio or googling my name for the answer is a bit annoying.. but that's the social media experience nowadays. The other frustration is that having been in the public eye, people actually think you died, dried up or stopped performing just because you're not in a tentpole superhero mainstream movie in theaters. (Let the fear of failure ensue.)

But today, I'll say I'm beyond grateful that my career has arrived here for the moment. Never did I think I'd be able to speak so clearly and candidly with you without the interference of a reporter, publicist and photoshop. Never did I expect to have freedom to dictate the path and let my true personal development- not the machine- guide the journey. Thanks for joining the adventure, whether you're just getting here or you've been around since the beginning. I appreciate you and would love to hear from you.
