Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today reply to the Motion of Thanks after the Question Hour. As many as 50 speakers from 25 political parties participated in the debate in Rajya Sabha on the Motion of Thanks lasting over three days. While 18 members of the BJP took part in the discussion, seven Congress MPs and 25 from other Opposition parties also spoke. The debate mainly focussed on farmers' protests with the Opposition parties demanding repeal of the three farm laws. Today, PM Narendra Modi will reply to the Motion of Thanks. Stay tuned as we update LIVE on the debate in Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday said the newly-passed farm laws should be given a chance and that the MSP system is here to stay. Requesting the protesting farmers to go back, he reiterated that the government is open to talks. The Prime Minister said that there is a need to protect the nation from a new FDI which he referred to as Foreign Destructive Ideology.
