📌 **Ingredients**:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 1 cup water (as needed)
- A pinch of saffron color
- Ghee or oil for frying

**For Sugar Syrup**:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Few saffron strands
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

📌 **Steps**:
1. **Prepare the Batter**:
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, and baking soda.
- Add yogurt and water gradually to form a smooth batter.
- Add saffron color and mix well.

2. **Prepare Sugar Syrup**:
- In a pan, add sugar and water. Bring it to a boil.
- Add cardamom powder, saffron strands, and lemon juice. Simmer until it reaches one-string consistency.

3. **Frying Jalebi**:
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
- Pour the batter into a piping bag or squeeze bottle.
- Squeeze the batter in hot oil in a circular motion to form jalebis.
- Fry until golden and crisp.

4. **Soaking in Syrup**:
- Dip the fried jalebis in hot sugar syrup for a few seconds.
- Remove and serve hot.
