How ‘Paradise’ Built Its Emotional Apocalypse With Music, Editing and VFX | Art and Crafts Live

The creative team behind Hulu’s ‘Paradise’ breaks down how the Emmy-nominated drama crafted its emotional and visual world in season two. Composer Siddhartha Khosla joins editor Julia Grove and visual effects supervisor John Stewart to discuss their long-running collaboration with creator Dan Fogelman, expanding the series beyond the bunker setting and building the haunting “Graceland” premiere around Shailene Woodley’s Annie.

Recorded at The Ankler’s Art & Crafts Live event, the conversation explores how music and editing evolved together throughout production, how the team recreated Graceland for the apocalypse and why one pivotal scene between Woodley and Thomas Doherty was left uncut to preserve its emotional intensity.
