Macrame Cradle

This project took my heart, I made it with so much effort , calculation and designing took 7 hours and making took 37 hours , I worked day and night which you could see in the tutorial 💗 I will appreciate any feedback. The cane rings are made by local craftsman and they can carry 50 kg weight as per local craftsman claimed. Rope is bought from saddar , Karachi , Pakistan from a local market.

Material required:

*4 rings (cane) and measurements are given in details in the vdo.
*28000 inches 7 mm braided cord.

Method:
* Start by wrapping all the rings by using 1200 inches of cotton rope.
*Prepare 12 x 120 inches rope and 12 x340 inches rope.
* Start making hanger by using 12*120 and 13*340 inches cords as shown in the vdo.
*Next make Alternative half hitches by using 340 inches cords , take two cords at a time and make alternative half hitches till you reach 5inches.
* Make 6 rows of alternative half hitches by using 12 cords of 340" on left side and other 6 rows in right side.
*Use 120" cords and make alternative half hitches 6 rows on one side and 6 on other.
*Now you have 4 groups:
1. 6 rows of AHH on right. (340")
2. 6 rows of AHH on left.(340")
3. 6 rows of AHH on one side.(120")
4. 6 rows of AHH at other side (120")
*All measure 5 inches.
* Add a smaller ring by double half hitch.
*By using 340" inches groups make dhh on ring.
*By using 120" groups make alternative half hitches and attach them on ring.
*Repeat the process for second ring.
*Make square knot pattern (120") ropes group as : 3 square knots - 2 - 1 and then make heaving line knot or barrel knots to finish.
*Make square knots by using the (340") groups as :3-2-3-2-3-2-3-2-3-2-1 sq knots per row.
* When you reached to 9th row (3 sq.knot) start making alternative half hitches on the extreme left and right two cords, 24 inches.
*When you reach to 10th row (2 sq.knots) start making Alternative half hitches till you reach 21 inches.
*When you make 10th row and final square knot , make 5 switch square knots, 17 inches.
* Use the all 12 cords now and attach them with the crib first frame.
*Now add 12 more cords along with these and make 12 square knots by using 24 ropes.

*Follow the vdo for details and method.
*You should have total 66 square knots that is 132 cords on the crib first base.
*Now make switch square knots to create design as shown in vdo.
*Make 10 rows by this switch knot, you will find the central cords will become shorter, so now you will make square knots, make 4 square knots all around the pattern.
*Now prepare 30 x 130 cords to make base.
*To fill any gap on crib base add 20" cord by reverse larks head knot.
*Follow vdo to see detail method.
*Now by using DHH attach the base with overall crib structure.
*Finally make two square knot under each row and trim the cords.
