Short throw LED portable projectors Acer and Pico Genie at Bett 2017

Acer K138ST or K138STi short throw 800 lumen LED projector side by side with the Pico Genie M550 Pro at the Bett Education show London January 2017.

There are only a very few portable LED short throw projectors on the market which can give you a decent size image this close to the wall so if you want a really big image without being several metres away from the wall then short throw is the way to go

Whats really amazing is how small these projectors are as a standard short throw projector has to be much larger for the optics to beam a larger image but these projectors are very light at 800 grams or less and can easily be put in a small laptop bag.

The yellow dongle in the back of the Pico Genie M550 is the prototype of a new interactive dongle which is due to be released in April. This dongle turns any surface into an interactive whiteboard. The final version will look completely different and be in white and look like a USB stick.
