Speed Drawing of Logan (Wolverine)

Last weekend I went and saw the latest Marvel movie, LOGAN! The first thing I did Monday morning was work on this fun illustration here.

Over the weekend I was doodling here and there and got some ideas to create this piece.

So first thing on Monday I sat down with my iPad Pro & Apple Pencil and sketched out a few ideas for the character.

Then I brought it into Adobe Illustrator (which is what you're seeing here).

I tried some new things with this piece that I haven't done before, including adding a gradient over the final illustration to give it more of a movie feel.

Hoping to go back and fix it even further with a solid background and sell the prints on my website. (:
