Louise Brooks, Icon of the Modern Age
With her bobbed haircut, short dresses and freewheeling attitude, Louise Brooks always had star quality. Between 1925 and 1938 she appeared in 24 films, but to this day her biggest impact is as an inspiration and icon to the women's rights movement.
