EURO TRIP: Italy- I am Mind Blown!! (OMG!)

Welcome to Episode 3 of my EURO TRIP! Coming from Croatia i have a bit of a hiccup at Border Patrol in Slovenia on the way up with my water damaged passport- but i make it! The drive to our first layover in Trieste, Italy was an ugly drive, especially as you approach Trieste from the South in its everlasting hideous Industrial zone. The weather was cold , wet and windy but that didn't stop us! Unfortunately our Airbnb did stop us because we had to wait ours for our apartment only to find it was occupied by someone else- he then said he gave us the wrong apartment. GREAT! First impression of Treiste wasn't great but we returned in a few days and it surely redeemed itself. Our highlight was definitely Venice and its surrounding islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello what beautiful sights and sounds in this city of charm and history. Venice stands as the most striking city i have seen so far and getting lost in it is just like getting lost in a pretty girls heart- TOTALLY WORTH IT! Next Stop? Slovenia!
