Exploring Nairobi Public Transport, Chris Orwa

Chris Orwa, Data Scientist at Safaricom Alpha provides insight on how to approach the Nairobi Traffic data problem on Zindi( http://zindi.africa/competitions/traffic-jam-predicting-peoples-movement-into-nairobi ) by exploring Nairobi Public Transport data from digital matatus. He covers topics such as frequentist reasoning, Bayesian reasoning, the German tank problem, Bayesian inference and brier score.

This is one of the mentor sessions delivered at the AI Kenya Zindi Data hackathon event held on 13th October 2018 at Moringa School.
