Why Repackaged African Food Can Be Dangerous

That “fresh African food” on the shelf may already be YEARS OLD and most people would never know because many products are REPACKAGED after arriving abroad.

Stores buy in bulk, split them into smaller bags, add their own labels and suddenly the original details disappear.

No manufacturer.
No real expiry date.
No production date.
No tamper-proof seal.

So you have NO IDEA how old that food really is.

A spice packed in 2021 can be repackaged in 2024 and suddenly look “fresh” again.

This is why I keep saying:
NEVER buy repackaged products without the ORIGINAL manufacturer label.

Always check for:
✅ Manufacturing date
✅ Expiry date
✅ Batch number
✅ Manufacturer address
✅ Tamper-proof seal

Become a detective anytime you enter an African store because expired food doesn’t always “look bad” immediately but over time:
⚠️ Taste fades
⚠️ Nutrients die
⚠️ Oils oxidize
⚠️ Mold risk increases

And sadly, many people only discover this after getting sick.

Smart buyers don’t just buy cheap…
They buy SAFE.

Follow this page so you don’t miss the next breakdown.
