Democrats threaten to have 'the mother of all temper tantrums'
Sky News host James Morrow says the Democrats are threatening “to have the mother of all tantrums” just as the upcoming US presidential election approaches.
Mr Morrow said for the past couple of weeks things have calmed down, ever since it became clear that the BLM and Antifa-led violence in America’s cities were “hurting the Democrats in the polls”.
Mr Morrow spoke of the recent passing of Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died over the weekend aged 87 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Mr Morrow said there was an “eminently qualified” person who he thinks that President Trump should pick to fill the vacant US Supreme Court seat.
He said Amy Coney Barrett is the choice; the 48 year old professor of constitutional law, and US Circuit Court judge on the Seventh Circuit, should be selected.
“Eminently qualified, she's also a strict constitutional originalist - as well as a devout Roman Catholic – something that will send the Left … completely around the bend,” Mr Morrow said.
It comes as President Donald Trump confirmed he will pick a woman to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court during a raucous rally in the key swing state of North Carolina.
“It will be a woman, a very talented, very brilliant woman," President Trump said.
"We haven’t chosen yet, but we have numerous women on the list.”
