Yamaha Motor has been providing water purification systems (Yamaha Clean Water Supply System) based on "slow sand filtration" for emerging and developing countries suffering from a shortage of drinking water.

In 2022, Yamaha Clean Water Supply System was installed in a school in the village of Seka Kagwa, near Lake Victoria, Kenya.

Yamaha also provided rugby balls, uniforms and more to this village (school), which is being used to raise water sanitation awareness and promote health through sports.
