Guy uses a homemade remote controlled door opener to open his secret hidden basement door

Check this out. I made a winch powered lift arm to open the secret basement door at the farm house. The winch is 12v remote control from Harbor Freight. It goes through one pulley and pulls a 1foot arm attached to a shaft that has a 3 foot arm at the other end. The arm pushes up on the center of the door with a roller wheel. The flooring on the door is offset unevenly so it blends with the flooring when closed. Really cool how this turned out!
