Sumy, Ukraine local market

Sumy is central part of Ukraine, city has a population of 287000 and people live as self sustained, selling product of their own, fruits, vegetables, honeys, fish, chicken. Its struct me that old ladies waiting all day long with a bunch of carrot and plum in the hope of selling to prospective client. This bazaar looks like precapitalism time bazaar, people barter their product without resorting the currency.
