1890's axe restoration | (polish to a high gloss)

Rusty axe restoration from the 1890s. unbeliveable restoration!

Processing steps:

0:22 removing the coarse rust with P80
0:40 -1:24 file a nice shape and removing pores and bumps
1:50 starting to sand the axe with p80
2:10 P220
2:18 P400
2:29 P800
2:37 P1200
3:13 starting with polishing (material in link below)
4:27 mask off to avoid scratches
5:12-5:30 sanding the handle with P80/P220/P400
5:40 adjust head shape
5:58 sand it again with P80/P220/P400
6:23 knock the wedge in, additionally secure with glue
6:38 saw off the supernatant
6:43 sand a nice shape with p80/p220/p400
7:00 oil with wood oil (reddish brown)
