How to Blacken (or Blue) Steel Nuts and Bolts at Home, with Friends.

I made some new lead screw jam nuts for my Atlas lathe and wanted to blacken them to match. In this video, I blacken (or blue) steel zinc-plated hardware-store nuts and bolts using cold bluing with good results. It's quick and easy, just like this video. I hope you enjoy.
