2020 Toyota Urban Cruiser vs Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza | What's the difference ?

Toyota's October sales performance is an impressive 52% higher than what it achieved during the month of September 2020. The huge jump is partially due to the introduction of Toyota Urban Cruiser, the rebadged Maruti Vitara Brezza.This segment has already established players like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 , kia sonet and now Nissan Magnite is also on the way to enter this segment.
Before launching urban cruiser Toyota has also launched its premium hatchback Glanza last year, which was again a rebadged version of Maruti suzuki Baleno.
Before that toyota had only few offerings in india like Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Fortuner,Toyota Yaris etc.The company is expected to continue its strong growth in the coming months as it maximizes the potential of Urban Cruiser. Moreover, the updated Fortuner and Innova Crysta are also due for launch in 2021.
The Urban Cruiser’s comes with a twin-slat grille and muscular fog lamp housings. It looks much more aggressive than the Vitara Brezza’s front-end design.While the front-end looks different, the rest of the Urban Cruiser is the same as the Brezza. Right from the tail lamps, silhouette and even the alloy wheels.The dimensions of vitara brezza are 3995mm long, 1790mm wide and 1640mm tall. The Brezza and the Urban Cruiser have an identical wheelbase of 2500mm.Both models share the same feature list. Highlights include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry with push button start, and a multi-info display. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and hill hold assist (automatic variants only).
Toyota has priced the Urban Cruiser at the starting range of ₹8,40,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).Bollywood actor, singer and youth icon Ayushmann Khurrana has joined Toyota as the brand ambassador for the all-new Toyota Urban Cruiser.Urban Cruiser will get the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that is found inside the Brezza.Urban Cruiser will also get diamond cut 16-inch alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control (standard across all variants), cruise control and electrochromic rear view mirror.
