Today we're talking about how to clean up numeric errors using the R Programming Language. Specifically, in this video, we will be addressing when a column or set of variables gets inputted as a character instead of a number.
➡️ Sometimes, when users have the opportunity to type into a data field, when being asked their age, for instance, they will type out the words seventy-two instead of 72, also in some cases, they might write something like "I don't know."
So, here's a video about how to fix numeric columns/variables in the statistical programming language R.

This video will show you how to rectify these types of issues. We'll convert a character column into a number column.
➡️ This unlocks the ability to do math in the column such as getting the average age or minimum or maximum age.
