End of My Rope (I Won't Let Go)

From a young age we are told fairy tales of valiant knights and terrifying monsters living in far off, fantastical lands. These stories teach us the value of bravery and the power of hope. As we grow older we learn that monsters are usually not found lurking in the shadows, waiting to snatch people up. They can come in the shape of people, those who we love and trust, and sometimes they exist in the corners of our own mind. What these stories also teach us is that with enough courage and heart, those monsters not only exist, but they can also be defeated.

For a great period of his life Corey Haim fought demons. But no matter which way the battled turned, he never gave up. Our strength does not come from out victories over one thing or another, but from the belief that we hold in ourselves and others. This is what is most important to remember.
